Mimiapan, Manuscrito Techialoyan de

f. 18v., genealogy (male only)

This type of male-only genealogy is not unusual in the Techialoyan genre. Here we only have the name of the progenitor, lying horizontal, a “Tepotzoteca,” and none of the subsequent generations. All of the male descendants are showing from a side view except one, in the lower middle section, who faces the audience. [SW]

English Translation

Here is the boundary of […]cahuazco [...]. [It is] land planted in magueyes. [Note: Normally, with a genealogy, we would have names for more than just the progenitor.]
