f. 21r., three men in colonial attire

On this folio (21 recto) three men are featured. They wear long, flowing white cotton garments typical of the Spanish colonial era, with added capes (what would be called tilmatli) tied at their shoulders. Their skin tone is light brown or pinkish. Their hair comes to (or nearly to, in two cases) their shoulders. They appear to have thin beards along their jaw lines, and possibly mustaches. All three wear sandals. Their left hands are visible in front of their bodies, hanging just below the waist. The text identifies them as brothers of the great lord don Melchor. They all bear the title of nobility don; their names are don Juan, don Gaspar, and don Martín. [SW]
