This is a close-up of the quiver that extends from behind the man, of the two in this scene, who is standing on our right. The quiver is outlined in black ink and stippled with black ink so as to suggest a hide that still has fur on it. Seven or eight arrows protrude from the top of the quiver. Their shafts are a reddish brown. The feathers at the ends are drawn or painted with black. [SW]
