This is a detail of a tree, tall and narrow, something like an Italian cypress. Its foliage is stippled with black ink, with most of the stipples being vertical (a few at the bottom and sides lean out). One distinct branch emerges on our left. The roots are visible. The foliage, trunk, and roots are all painted with the same green water color.
