f. 23v., indigenous man’s head

This is the head of the man, of the two, who is on our right. In this detail we can see the pinkish color of his skin tone. We see his black hair has some wave to it, and it reaches his shoulder. He has a slight beard all along his jaw and possibly a mustache. His eyes have that extra line (a fold) between the eye and the eyebrow. Or else the extra line is a furrow above the eyebrow. What may be a feather comes up off the top of his head. [SW]
