This page, which is the front side of the eighth folio of eighteen folios, is typical of the image-heavy pages that feature landscapes included in these territorial claims of San Cristóbal Texcalucan and Santa María Magdalena Chichicaspa in the municipality of Huixquilucan (modern State of Mexico) late in the Spanish colonial period.
On this page we see an indigenous man seated near a lion. The man wears white cotton clothing representative of the Spanish colonial period. A patch of blue or green runs across the middle of the page, as though the lion and the man are sitting on the shores of a river or on the edges of a field. Lines of text run across the top of the page, and some text appears at the bottom.
A brown stain appears in the binding at about the middle of the page. Another stain appears in the upper right corner.

En esta página vemos a un hombre indígena sentado cerca de un león. El hombre viste ropa blanca de algodón representativa del periodo colonial Español. Un parche de azul o verde corre en medio de la página, como si el hombre y el león están sentados en la orilla del río o en el borde de un campo. Líneas de texto corren en la parte de arriba de la página, y algunas aparecen en la parte de abajo.
Una mancha café aparece en la cubierta en la mitad de la página. Otra mancha aparece en la esquina derecha de arriba.
