This is a detail of three indigenous men seated on the ground or on a ledge of rocks, given the bend in their legs. According to the text (not pictured here) they are the noblemen don Manuel, don Salvador, and don Miguel Totoquiahuatzin, town founders of Huitzquilocan [Huixquilucan today]. They all wear the white cotton clothing that was typical of the Spanish colonial period. They are all gesturing with their hands, a sign of speech or of their authority and status. All three are drawn in black ink. Their garments have gray or blue-gray shadows. They all have black hair that comes to their shoulders. They all have mustaches and small beards.

De acuerdo al texto, (no ilustrado aquí) ellos son los hombres nobles don Manuel, don Salvador, y don Miguel Toquiahuatzin, y fundadores del pueblo de Huitzquilocan (Huixquilucan hoy). Todos ellos usan la ropa blanca de algodón tipica del periodo colonial Español. Todos ellos estan haciendo gestos con sus manos, seña de que estan hablando o de su autoridad o estatus.
