This is a detail of two horizontal lines drawn in the same ink used for the text, as well as a repetition of the letter “x” three or four times to the right of the two lines. This may be a method the writer was using to fill the remaining space after he wrote all he intended to write. Perhaps he did not want anyone to add anything at a later time that might alter in some way what he had written. Or it could be a reference to some measure of land.
