f. 6v., ancestral couple
On this folio, 6 verso, we see an indigenous ancestral couple, with a woman seated on our left and a man standing on our right. The woman wears only a white cotton cloth wrapped around her waist, extending to her knees. Her hair is long and flowing, almost to her elbow. The man wears an orange-colored cotton garment that is like a skirt with an extension over half the chest and draped from his left shoulder. This garment is colored orange. On his back he has a quiver of arrows. His hair is long and flowing, reaching almost to his elbow. He has a mustache and a short beard. Both of these people have skin with a pinkish tone. They are both barefooted. The ground is light brown. [SW]
