f. 5v., two indigenous men standing
This folio, 5 verso, shows two indigenous men standing. Both wear animal hides (jaguar pelts?), colored brown with black spots, with the heads of the animals visible on the men’s shoulders. They both have quivers of arrows on their backs, and the man on our left holds an arrow in his right hand. Both men have long black hair, mustaches, slight beards, and what may be a feather atop their heads. Their skin is painted with a brown tone. They are both barefooted. [SW]
