This is a full page of text, on the front side of the second folio (2 recto) of eighteen folios, with no images. The text on this page is written directly on fig bark paper. A brown stain is visible in the binding, about half way down the page. Another stain appears at the bottom of the page, at the center. The text here refers to pre-Columbian Nahua dignitaries who once governed this area. It also mentions the arrival of the new, Catholic faith, baptism, the construction of the church, the arrival of the first frian, and the beginning of masses.

Esta es una página completa de texto, en lado de atras del segundo folio (2 recto) de dieciocho folios sin imágenes. El texto está escrito directamente en el papel de higuera. Hay una mancha visible en la encuadernación, en la mitad de la primer página. Otra mancha aparece en la parte inferior media de la página. They [some friars?] entered the temple [and gave us?] our precious father [the patron saint] whom we serve and who is in charge [?]. For this reason, eternally everything is announced about the foundation [and location?] of this altepetl[?]....
