f. 12r., Nahuatl text
This Nahuatl text indicates that the indigenous women who appear here are cihuapipiltin, i.e. elite indigenous women, who have provided tribute labor. They are town founders named doña María Salome, doña Micaela, and doña Agustina Coxtoatzin. Eight circles follow their names, which may be filling the space or may have the intention of providing some type of measurement. [SW]
