This is a detail of a tree with three clumps of foliage, one central, taller one, and one more on each side appearing in Book VII, folio 3 verso. It is outlined in black and washed with a blue-green. Leaves are simple, black hash marks with the brush or pen. The roots are visible above the ground. [SW]
