Bk. IV, f. 2r., two-story building
In this detail, appearing in Book IV, folio 2 recto, we have a two-story, angular structure, outlined in black. Apparently the principal church of Iztacapan, it is the central feature of the scene on this page. The second story is smaller than the first. The ground floor has a rectangular entrance which may be an open doorway with a lintel above it. The second story has a window with a similar lintel. The structure is shown in elevation and is three-dimensional. The roof is pitched. The walls are washed with a gray watercolor. The roof and framing around the window and doorway are painted brown. The door and window openings are a darker brown. [SW]

En éste detalle vemos una estructura angular de dos pisos, delineada en tinta negra. Aparentemente el rasgo central de la escena es la iglesia principal de Iztacapan. El segundo piso es más pequeño que el primero. La planta baja tiene una entrada rectangular que puede haber servido de acceso al edificio con un lindel encima. El segundo piso tiene una ventana con un lindel similar. La estructura está representada en tres dimensiones, y en elevación. Las paredes estan desteñidas con una acuarela de color gris. El techo y los marcos de la ventana y la puerta están pintados en café. La abertura de la puerta y la ventana están pintadas en un marrón más oscuro.
