This is a detail of a part of a Nahuatl word, appearing in Book IV, folio 2 recto, possibly a verb but not fully intelligible, written in black ink. The ink of this word is blacker than that of the principal text on this page, but it aligns with other glosses at the top of the page, such as “tiopan” (teopan) and “tlacal” (tlacatl). This word portion, “quitia” (?), coud combine with the portion “tlacal” — possibly an error for tlacalaquiltia? [SW]

Este es un detalle de un fragmento de una palabra Nahuatl parcialmente ilegible, posiblemente un verbo, escrita en tinta negra. La tinta en esta palabra es más negra que la del resto de la página, pero similar al de otros detalles en la parte superior de la página como “tiopan” (teopan) y “tiacal” (tlacatl). El fragmento “quitia” (?) podría combinar con la porción “tiacal” -- ¿tal vez un error ortográfico para tlacalaquiltia?
