This is a full page of text, folio 3 verso, with no images. There is a dark brown stain in the middle of the page. The text on this page is written on European paper that has been glued onto fig bark paper. The text establishes that this is a document about lands pertaining to the head town (Tolcayuca, presumably), where the people provide for the church and pay tributes to the king. It stipulates that the document is to be guarded and observed by future generations and that no one violate the claims in it. In fact, this is said to be a “land paper” called a “mapa,” and that it indicates the boundaries of the town. The text concludes with a long list of pre-Columbian calendar signs (house, lizard, serpent, death, deer, rabbit, etc.).
