seated indigenous lord (Generation III-6)
This lord was the inheritor of the Tilantongo titles. According to Codex Bodley (p. 18-i and 20-ii), he carried the calendar name 10 Rain. His personal name was “Dzavui” (here) or “Sun-Dzavui” (in Codex Bodley). This name is incorporated in his head: his face and crown are those of the Rain God. He is mentioned in a colonial alphabetic text as lord "Xico [10 Rain] caçique que fue del dicho pueblo de Tilantongo" (AGN, Civil, vol. 516, exp. 1, f. 24v).
