Seated lady (Generation II-11)
This lady was, like her grandmother, a Teozacualco princess. She was the cousin of her husband, since her mother was her husband's sister who had gone to Teozacualco to marry there. Also, her father was the son of a Teozacualco princess, the sister of lady 1 Eagle, who was her husband's grandmother. Since her father and mother were the founders of the third dynasty of Teozacualco, her marriage in Tilantongo assured continuity in the relations between Tilantongo and Teozacualco. In fact, Codex Bodley (p. 15-iv) puts her and her husband as rulers of Teozacualco, while the map has them ruling in Tilantongo. According to other documents (Codex Bodley, p. 15-iv, Codex Vindobonensis, p. XII-i), her calendar name was 6 Water. For more information on her parents, see the commentary on the Teozacualco column.
