Seated Lady (Generation II-8)
This lady carries a complex name glyph. According to other documents (Codex Bodley, p. 15-ii), her calendar name was 13 Lizard.
This princess was a daughter of the lords of an unidentified place represented by a topograph consisting of an architectural frieze (ñuu in Mixtec), a human head, colored sticks, a puma head and two small black and red stripes. Similar to earlier generations (5 and 6), this wedding reinforced a marital alliance made one or two generations earlier: her father was the uncle of her husband who had married in the same place one generation earlier.
Señora Sentada (Generación II-8)
Esta señora lleva un glifo onomástico complejo. Según otros documentos (Códice Bodley, p. 15-ii), su nombre calendárico fue 13 Lagartija.
Esta princesa era la hija de los gobernantes de un lugar no identificado representado por un topograma consistente en un friso arquitectónico (ñuu en mixteco), una cabeza humana, unas bandas coloradas, una cabeza de puma y dos pequeñas tiras pintadas de negro y rojo. Similar a generaciones anteriores (5 y 6), este matrimonio reforzó una alianza marital creada una o dos generaciones antes: su padre fue el tío de su marido que se había casado en el mismo lugar una generación antes.
