This lady was called “Quechquemitl of Blood” (1). According to the Codex Bodley (p. 13/14-ii), her calendar name was 4 Eagle. She was the daughter of the rulers of a place called “monkey.” This marriage reinforced the marital politics of one generation earlier, when two brothers of 8 Reed “Crested Guan” had married ladies from “monkey.” Lady “Quechquemitl of Blood” was in fact the daughter of one of these marriages. Apparently, Tilantongo had great interest in relating to 'monkey' at this moment in time.
Señora Sentada (Generación II-5)
Esta señora se llamó 'Quechquemitl de Sangre' (1). Según el Códice Bodley (p. 13/14-ii), su nombre calendárico fue 4 Aguila. Era la hija de los gobernantes de un lugar llamada 'Mono'. Este matrimonio reforzó la política marital de una generación antes, cuendo dos de los hermanso de 8 Caña 'Cojolito' se habían casado con señoras de 'mono'. La señor 'Quechquemitl de Sangre' era de hecho la hija de uno de estos matrimonios. Aparentemente, Tilantongo tenía un interés fuerte en relacionarse con 'mono' en este momento de la historia.
