This detail shows a trapezoidal land parcel with very specific measurements, possibly in pre-Columbian Nahua units of measure, such as the yollotli (heart, measured from the fingertips to the center of the chest, or about 83 centimeters). The parcel is glossed in Nahuatl as a milli (agricultural field) pertaining to a “don Antonio,” i.e. an indigenous noble with that name. [SW]
