This detail shows the principal church, glossed “Sn Agustin de las Cuebas,” or San Agustín de las Cuevas in contemporary orthography. We see St. Augustine standing in the entrance to the stylized church. A path or road (with footprints, reminiscent of the pre-Hispanic style) leading to the church (and away from it) appears in the upper right corner and from two points on the left of the tower. [SW]
