The community is represented with a few square buildings (probably the housing core) and a church with a single-tiered bell tower, cupola, and cross. Some vegetation appears near the road. Footprints traverse in front of the church.
The placename for this pueblo appears on the hill behind the Christian church. The patron saint is not indicated, but it is possibly San Pedro Xicalhuacan, a community subordinate to Tizayuca and listed in the records of the Arzobispado de México in 1569 (p. 55).
