trees and brush

This is a detail of the trees and brush that comprise the bulk of the scene in this lower half of the 4th double register. We see trunks of three or four trees, painted in green and black. The brush underneath the trees is painted with the same colors. A worm hole appears in the foliage of the middle tree. A brown stain appears to the right of the middle tree. [SW]
