This is a detail, in the top scene on the double register with the number 1, showing an indigenous man standing. He wears loose cotton clothing and sandals. His name appears near his right foot, partly legible, naming his as don Francisco Cal.... Given the title of nobility, “don,” he is probably meant to represent a local dignitary. [SW]
