1, top: two indigenous men
This is the top scene on the double register with the number 1, showing two indigenous men standing and a building in between them, toward the back. The men wear loose cotton clothing suggestive of the Spanish colonial era. They also have sandals., and they seem to have mustaches and goatees. Their hands are raised at waist height or higher, appearing to gesture, which may be suggestive of a social or political status. The texts on this scene have not been reinforced, and they are quite faded. [SW]
