Cathedral of Santa Maria

The numerical gloss in this image is in reference to the glossary on the right-hand side of the page. The cathedral was one of the most prominent and important Spanish religious buildings in New Spain. While there are larger buildings on the map the structure and style of the cathedral with two obviously large doors, a bell tower and other designs on the roof help it to standout from other buildings on the map.
