The “rayo”(?), glossed 9

This is the image representing the rayo in the Plaza Mayor. The base of the image is round and is connected to the top with what could be a pole. The top looks vaguely candle-flame like, suggesting that this may have been a lamp. Alternatively, it may also have been a lightning rod to help direct lightning away from the important buildings located around the Plaza Mayor. The number nine next to the image corresponds to the glossary on the right-hand side of the map.
